Parking at a Columbia University Garage

Effective July 1, 2023

For Seminars, Workshops, Special Events, and Conferences

Parking requests must be submitted by the guest at least three business days in advance and are subject to garage availability.

  • The current one-day rate is $25/per vehicle if not covered by a travel fund request.
  • Parking may be paid via our Credit Card Payment Form or by personal check in advance, on the day of the event, or post the event. 
  • For credit card payments, guests can add a note to their payment.
  • For checks mailed to our office address, please include either a copy of the announcement or an accompanying note with the seminar/workshop name, number, and meeting dated. Checks can be mailed to:

Columbia University Parking Requirements

To request a parking space, please email the following to The University Seminars Administrative Assistant, Giran Ceballos ([email protected]):

  • Seminar name or number
  • Date of meeting
  • Driver's name
  • Date and time of arrival
  • Time in which driver will return for the car
  • Vehicle information: Make, model, color, license plate# and state
  • Garage preference, if applicable

Electric vehicle charging is available at no extra cost.

If the preferred garage is full, the guest will be sent to the other garage.
